Fritz Walter Stadium Tour

I got to enjoy a Fritz Walter Stadium tour organized by “Welcome to Rhineland Pfalz“. It was a wonderful time and here’s some of the things you need to know if you want to join the next one!

I follow the Welcome to RLP Facebook Page and it was posted on the site to join for an English tour. I signed up via messaging them there.

The tour started on the northeastern side of the stadium and we parked in that area. There was plenty of parking in that area even though there was a practice going on the practice field.

The tour was pretty basic and was mainly about the history of the team and the fan art that is located around the stadium. I enjoyed the art but the history was mainly lost of me. The main attraction was obviously going near the field and exploring the lower areas of the stadium.

The race car seats were another favorite of mine! 1FCK started the trend back in the 90s. You can thank Ktown for all the race car seats found in several different soccer leagues.

You do get to walk around the West Kurve section which is where the home town hooligans stand and recently there have been some really in-depth choreography. It was really fun to see all the hooligan stickers too plastered all over the stands!
