We finally made it to Copenhagen Denmark and we loved it! It was winter and cold but we were able to make it out and enjoy some fun things! Here’s what to expect!
Food Heaven
Copenhagen is a foodie heaven! There are tons of fancy restaurants, brunch spots, and Michelin spots. We went to a mix of places and here’s my thoughts.
Cleo

We found Cleo on social media. It situated in a quaint neighborhood across from a small church and it was easy to get to. Like most places around Copenhagen, it’s easy to use the metro and walk.
There are tasting menu and a la carte options on the menu. We decided on the tasting menu and it was a good choice. It was a good spot at a decent price. We had two tasting menus and two glasses of wine for about $180. The pizza bread, pulpo, and pork chop were stand out items but beets and endive salad were a low light.
Juma
We had our Valentine’s dinner at Juma. This was an Indian eatery and the looks were great. It’s an old building with all the brick exposed. It made for a great evening vibe!
We got the Valentine’s tasting menu but unfortunately we shouldn’t have! It was too much food. The food was all great but we got stuck with so much food for two people. We should have ordered from a la carte menu and got exactly what we wanted instead of getting ten plates! The special menu came in at $270!
The food was all great but not worth the $270 we spent. This is a great spot if you’re looking for good food and good vibes. Our waiter was especially nice and catered to us but the amount of food, cost, and missing out on a few menu items I should have got, made for a less than perfect evening.
Bobe

Our last spot on the trip was Bobe. This was a Michelin Bib Gourmand restaurant. It was a real highlight of the trip! This place rocked but the price reflected its rating and flavor coming in at $350. The atmosphere was great with a fancy fireplace, open concept kitchen you could see all wrapped in an old building on the edge of a small plaza.
The steak was so good! It was a standout item. The steaks in Europe can be very different than what I’m used to in the USA. This steak had its own flavor and style it was unlike anything I’ve had before. It was familiar yet had its own unique flavor. I really liked it and would return!
Activities Around Copenhagen

Copenhagen has tons of things to do! I won’t lie but it was so windy and cold one day we didn’t go out and hung around the hotel all day. The summer activities seem endless but what it’s 20ºF and windy, it makes for a crappy afternoon exploring the city.
Copenhagen Contemporary
We love a great modern art museum. This place was a fun one! Copenhagen Contemporary is a modern art museum in the Reffen Street neighborhood. It actually had some intriguing pieces that I thought were really cool. I’d go back when they get a new exhibit. There were older videos on social media and they get some cool interactive art!
