I stayed at a gorgeous Airbnb treehouse near Rachamps for a weekend to explore Bastogne Belgium. It provided a fun spot to stay and explore the history of the area but it was a nice romantic spot for you and a special someone. Here are a few pictures and what to expect when you visit this wonderland spot!
The Treehouse Airbnb!
The treehouse Airbnb was named “La Chouette Cabane en Ardennes” and is located in Rachamps Belgium. It’s just a short drive to Bastogne and many of the historical spots around the area. It’s magical and really had charm. It’s located in the backyard of the owner’s house and it’s amongst the backyard garden. It was the children’s treehouse and old and shabby but when everyone grew up they refurbished it and made it into what it is today!
The family that hosts it is a wonderful French-speaking Belgian family and they were eager to talk with us and ask about our travels. A few of them didn’t speak English but we used Google translate and had a great time having some wine together. There is also a small farm right next door to the treehouse and there were deer there. It was so idyllic and there were bunnies and birds and chickens all running around this little farm area and they all seemed like friends!
I highly recommend this spot and it was a great weekend getaway. It was quaint, quiet, relaxing, and a spot where you can surely recharge your batteries…go!
Bastogne is about a 10-minute drive from the tree house.
