Do you have bulk trash filling your garage in the KMC? Then here’s what you need to know about dropping off residential bulk trash at the ZAK trash center near Ktown!

First, head to the ZAK website at: https://wsh.zak-kl.de/

Make sure you pick which center you want to go to. I went to the North Kaiserslautern Center.

Second, pick a date and appointment time. You can go up to 2 times per week.

Third, input your home address, email, and information to include your license plate number. They will check when you arrive. You have an hour-long appointment to get there. I did use the translate option on my phone browser to see the website in English.

Wait at the stop sign until you’re called by the attendant.

When waved forward, I explained which items I had – cardboard and damaged electronics.

I drove up, stayed to the right, and parked. I dumped everything in the appropriate dumpster under the shelter. When I finished, I got back in my car and continued through the shelter to the 180-degree turn in the road and then went through the exit. There is a higher level that is located above the first part of the road but you can bypass that part via the exit road.
